ALL COLLECTION CENTRES CLOSING EARLY AND LOGISTICS SERVICE DUE TO FLOOD RISK

In line with the civil defence warning issued earlier today. Our staff have assessed the safety of our centres. As always our priority is the safety of patients and staff travelling to and from these collection centres. The following centres are closed due to the flood risk – Point Chevalier, Waiheke Island and Helensville. All our collection centres will be closed from 3pm today.

Our courier service to medical centres will start clearing work from 3pm today and there will be no pick ups from 4pm onwards.

Please defer all non-urgent testing to later in the week. Please encourage all patients to keep checking the AT website to ensure their journey to and from the collection centres is safe. At this stage our home visits service is operational although as expected, where patient’s houses are affected by road closures, the service may be impacted. We will inform referrers if any requests are unable to be fulfilled due to flooding diversions.
