Labtests provide a range of pathology and laboratory services to the wider Auckland community.  We cover all aspects of collection, transportation, testing, reporting and consultant advice on tests requested by health practitioners.

Labtests provides the community pathology services for all GP's, Public Hospital Clinics and Midwives across the Auckland region.
 

Our purpose-built $10 million laboratory facility at Carbine Road, Mt Wellington is one of the most automated and technically advanced labs in the world, able to process a large test range, with a high number of specimens.  Efficiencies in our processing ensure that health practitioners receive results quickly, and with high accuracy. 
And, we are the first laboratory service in New Zealand to offer electronic test requesting for doctors.

Our service range covers routine tests (many of which are electronically tested via our Siemens ADVIA LabCell testing system) alongside some more complex tests requiring manual observation or testing by Our Pathologists. Additionally, we provide extended services at the request of health practitioners, including Frozen Sections, Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsies, Multi-Disciplinary Meetings, Home Visit Specimen Collection service, and Courier Pickups.
